Skull tonal painting
As an exercise in tonal painting I have done this skull. Not quite the picture I would like to hang up at home, but JH might like it for his room. Quite the boy thing. He asked if I could add cross bones.

More Reno
This week was perfect sunshine. Any building happen, of course not. Next week rain is predicted. Is building happening? We chose him because of experience. We knew there was planning issues.
Not much progress
All I can say is that I was told about this. Builders brain is not engaged. He appears to be last in the queue, when the planning gene was handed out. Who runs out of bricks when building a foundation?

Completed her in 5 hours. She has a flower in her hair. She might need another hour, but I have decided to end now.

Finished another drawing
Never thought I'd draw a Pope. Of all of them, this guy was probably the most feared. My guess is that the stake would have been the place for disagreeing with this guy.
Pope Julius II (5 December 1443 – 21 February 1513), nicknamed "The Fearsome Pope" (Il Papa Terribile) and "The Warrior Pope" (Il Papa Guerriero), born Giuliano della Rovere, was Pope from 1503 to 1513. His papacy was marked by an active foreign policy, ambitious building projects, and patronage for the arts.

Blue Hands
Josh woke up this morning with blue hands. We think he'll be completely blue tomorrow. Hopefully this is not contagious.

Finished
This is a drawing from a plaster cast a famous sculpture that's in Florence's Bargello Museum, "Niccolò da Uzzano" by Donatello. Niccolò was the banker of the Medici family, made famous during the time of the Renaissance for their incredible support of artists. The original was completed in the 15th century. In the 21st century the likeness continues.

Dec 07. Thank you to the Doctors and Staff at the Sydney Childrens Hospital for being so thoughtful and caring towards our little boy whilst he was sick with African Tick Bite Fever. Their positive attitude helped us keep things in perspective, and make our stay comfortable.
Cherish your child's good health - it is a blessing, something we should never take for granted.
