For NYE we had some friends over for an early dinner. The kids had a ball playing in the garden. Today we had a warm day - around 30 degrees, so the weather was ideal by 5:30pm.

Kim, Sarah, Megan and I took the boys to see The Wiggles "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing!" concert at the Entertainment Centre.

Today we went to the local oval after daycare, Josh had a try flying his new kite. Was great fun.........

Jack had his 3rd birthday party today. Josh enjoyed playing pass-the-parcel, and got a chance to eat all kinds of junk :-)

Josh and Andrew spent a few hours at the zoo. This time they got to ride in the cable car.

This evening Josh decided to do some of his own reading. He read " The Idiots guide to Potty Training Problems" whilst Andrew read his Gardening book. Mmmmm very interesting........ must remember that tip!

Today we went to Taronga Zoo (in the 35 degree heat), this was Josh's first time to a real zoo. There is so much to see so we decided to just visit animals which we have read about in his books. We saw seals at the seal show, gorillas, chimps, elephant (having a bath), giraffe ,a huge turtle, a bear ..... the much liked lion was asleep out of sight.
We hope to go again in the next few weeks, to see the Reptiles, and then the Water animals like the Platypus, Croc, Frogs, Turtles.
